For over 35 years, broadcasting legend “Whispering” Bob Harris OBE has managed his line-up, built stadiums and training grounds and kept records of every single match played. On January 3rd 2024 Bob & Miles will broadcast the first weekly #Podcast charting the highs & lows of North London FC.

Bob was one of a number of celebrities who took part in 5K for AD, a charity walk in aid of the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust at Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium.

Danny Wallace and George Egg are joined by Alexandra Burke, Danielle de Niese, Bob Harris and Kéllé Bryan for an eclectic mix of conversation, music and comedy. With music from The Teskey Brothers and Angeline Morrison.

Despite Bob’s lifelong love of - and participation in - rugby, this weekend will see his son, Miles’, very first experience of Twickenham in all its thunderous glory when he takes to the hallowed turf to photograph the game for the RFU.

The immersive media, music and entertainment district known as Outernet is set to open in central London in winter 2021. A 2,000 capacity venue, the return of the 12 Bar Club and a further intimate live space will open at the Denmark Street site.

Radio 1 Breakfast presenter Greg James grew up with Bob’s famous whispering voice coming out of the radios at home, as his father Alan has been a fan from Bob’s first broadcast on Radio 1 on August 19th 1970 and his television career on The Old Grey Whistle Test, right through to Bob’s current work on Radio 2. They are firm friends through a love of cricket and music and have often attended gigs together with their families.

Greg talks in depth to Bob about his life, influences and passions and constant search for the next big thing.

The deal coincides with the celebrations for Bob Harris’ 50 years on the BBC, including a repeat of the special tribute to The Old Grey Whistle Test. Harris currently has a country music show on Radio 2.

Bob was delighted to be cast in Tom Harper’s brilliant film “Wild Rose” alongside Julie Walters and the film’s magnificent star Jessie Buckley.

Hosted by Bob Harris, this live studio show features music, special guests and rare archive to mark 30 years since the legendary series was last broadcast. Featuring performances from Peter Frampton, Richard Thompson, and Albert Lee among others.

Bob was Kirsty Young’s guest on the iconic BBC Radio 4 show in early 2014. His picks included Robert Plant, Neil Young and of course his all time favourite pick, Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me”.
