The John Lennon Interview
Bob’s classic interview with the former Beatles was recorded in New York in March 1975 and broadcast on the Old Grey Whistle Test on 18th April that year.
John Lennon was asked the "inevitable" question about a Beatles reunion on The Old Grey Whistle Test and his response has since been etched in legend as evidence that such a reunion might have been possible one day.
Bob was especially delighted that during the ensuing session. recorded for The Old Grey Whistle Test John performed his favourite song, “Stand By Me”.
