“That’s 60s” broadcasts performances from the artists of the era. Whilst music videos were not always produced by recording artists until later decades, “That’s 60s” showx many live band performances made for TV shows around the world during the 60s.

Bob was delighted this morning to discuss the forthcoming series of events on Radio 2’s celebration of Country Music in lieu of the postponed C2C: Country to Country festival.

Hosted by Bob Harris, this live studio show features music, special guests and rare archive to mark 30 years since the legendary series was last broadcast. Featuring performances from Peter Frampton, Richard Thompson, and Albert Lee among others.

From 31 October 1972: Martin Walker meets the DJ on The Old Grey Whistle Test.

Bob Harris, broadcaster, was surprised by Michael Aspel while interviewing Robin Gibb for his radio show at BBC Broadcasting House in central London.

Bob’s classic interview with the former Beatles was recorded in New York in March 1975 and broadcast on the Old Grey Whistle Test on 18th April that year.
