Bob was more than a little delighted to be interviewed for a feature in The Cricketer magazine this month.

On 16th November 2022 Bob joined his BBC radio 2 colleagues in support of the extraordinary efforts made by afternoon DJ Scott Mills to raise funds foe “Children in Need”.

This month Bob has taken full advantage of a wonderful opportunity to travel to Texas to host Buddy Holly's 85th Birthday Celebration in Lubbock, TX. His Stateside visit, lasting much of August, took in visits to Tennessee & Alabama and a chance to catch up with many old friends, colleagues, fellow broadcasters - as well as making many new friends along the way.

In March, Radio 2 Celebrates Country offers listeners a feast of country music. As the official broadcast partner of C2C Country to Country, the biggest country music festival in Europe, the network broadcasts from backstage at the festival in London’s O2 Arena with two shows. On Saturday 12 March (3pm-6pm), host of Radio 2’s The Country Show (Thursdays, 9pm), Bob Harris, introduces highlights from the festival.

Bob will be sitting in on BBC Radio 2 for his great friend Johnnie Walker on ‘Sounds of the 70’s’ on 16th and 23rd January.

Whispering Bob will be charting the history behind genres and styles through music lineage and artist relationships.

On 19th October 2021 Bob was honoured to be awarded The Oldie magazine’s “Poptastic Oldie of the Year” by Camilla Duchess of Cornwall at The Savoy in London.

The twice covid-postponed “Backstage Pass” tour finally sprung into life last night, 18 months after its original start date, in front of an enthusiastic and appreciative audience at The Lowry Theatre in Salford.

From her awesome chart success in the 1980s to her Grammy-winning work today, she has established herself as a writer to trust implicitly, creating music of touching power, imagination, integrity, truth and beauty.
